About Me

Hello! I'm Maria Fuertes, a committed Full Stack Developer with a deep passion for creating web solutions that bridge the gap between technology and user needs. Currently, I am embarking on my Master of Science in Information Technology at Florida State University. I have honed my skills in a range of programming languages and frameworks, including C#, Python, React, and Laravel.

My journey began at Broward College, where I graduated with a Bachelor in Information Technology - Web Development, achieving recognition on the President’s and Dean’s lists. Through my academic projects and internship, I have developed a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, working effectively under pressure to meet client needs and deliver cutting-edge web applications.

Prior to my focus on development, I gained valuable experience in customer service, where I mastered the art of communication and problem-solving. These roles taught me the importance of understanding user perspectives—skills I bring to software development to ensure my projects are user-centric and highly functional.

I am also proficient in database management, with practical knowledge of MySQL and MS SQL Server, and I pride myself on my ability to manage complex projects from conception to implementation. Whether I'm coding, managing databases, or liaising with clients, my goal is to produce results that resonate with users and exceed expectations.
